Abstract

PURPOSE:In LNG gasification, a substance with boiling point higher than that of LNG is used, and by driving an LNG expansion turbine, gasifying power is recovered by the efficient use of cold heat energy. CONSTITUTION:LNG is given pressure by pump 2 and is fed to LNG evaporator 3. LNG gasifies in evaporator 3 by absorbing heat from propane. The gas is fed to gasified natural gas expansion turbine 4. Here, gasified power is recovered. Propane in the gaseous state is fed to LNG evaporator 3, where it is liquefied. Liquefied propane is sent to propane evaporator 6, where it is gasified. The gas is fed to gasified propane expansion turbine 7 and gasifying power is recovered.
