Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the crevice corrosion and also, to heighten the adhesive power, by forming weld joint part at the bottom reaming the hole in J type groove shape on the water room side of tube hole or the tube plate and plugging up the hole by welding after inserting the tube from the drum side to the water room side.
CONSTITUTION: The J type groove-shaped hole 14 concentrically connecting with the tube hole 12 opening to the drum 11 side of the tube plate 10 and having weld joint part at the bottom opening to the water room 13 side. Next, the insert ring 17 is attached after inserting the tube from the drum 11 side to the water room 13 face. Hereby, crevice corrosion is prevented and adhesive power is heightened by inserting the TIG welding torch 16 from the hole 14 and plugging up the hole by welding.
