Abstract

PURPOSE:To establish a proportional relation between reception pulse signal level and transmission pulse signal level by adding memory control circuit and output level variable oscillator. CONSTITUTION:To be used in comprehensive evaluation of an active sonar device intended to detect a moving object in water, the device designed to receive a pulse sound wave emitted from the active sonar at a receiver 1 to convert into electric signal and amplify it and to output pulse sound wave equivalent to echo sound of received sound wave from a transmitter 2 is furnished with a level memory control circuit 9 which is intended to detect and store the level of reception pulse signal and output an electric signal proportional to a predetermined level conversion rate, and an output level variable oscillator 10 which is designed to control the oscillator output level by using the said electric signal output, so that a proportional relation is established between the level of reception pulse signal and the level of transmission pulse signal, hence completely preventing howling.
