Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a belt wrapper capable of automatically rewinding a paper, thin metal sheet and the like by having a perforated belt guide the material being rewound to the rewinding drum and a suction device such said material to the perforated belt.
CONSTITUTION: The tipe of a paper 25 is guided onto a perforated belt 8 by air blown from nozzles N1 to N4 as it is unwound from a coil 3, said unwound tip of the paper 25 being sucked by air suction of a fan 9 via perforation of the belt 8 and a suction duct 4, wrinkles of said paper 25 being ironed out by the friction and suction of the perforated belt 8 and guided to a rewinding drum 12, the tip of the paper 25 so guided is separated from the perforated belt 8 by air blown from a nozzle 18 to ensure proper rewinding on the rewinding drum 12.
