Abstract

PURPOSE: To attain color TV transmission of high quality by introducing the light- wavelength-division multiplication technique employing optical fiber.
CONSTITUTION: Through photoelectric conversion operations 201 to 203, wavelengths (λ1) to (λ3) are obtained from RGB signal of pickup tube 19. By multiplying 21 those light wavelengths, signals are focused and inputted to optical fiber 24. The pickup tube and photoelectric converters are supplied with synchronizing signal 23.
