Abstract

PURPOSE: To attain the economization and miniaturization of a TV telephone set paying attention to the loss and broad band of optical fiber, light-wavelength multiplication technique, and output signal waveform of a single-tube system TV pickup tube.
CONSTITUTION: At a transmission side, single-tube system color pickup tube 28 is driven by sending out a synchronizing signal from synchronizing-signal generating circuit 30 via deflecting circuit 29; the video signal of a subject is extracted as a video output and a TV signal with the synchronizing signal superposed upon at terminal 31 is converted into a photo signal of light wavelength (λ1) by electrophoto converter circuit 32. This signal of (λ1) is passed through optical fiber 341, applied to line 343 via photo branching filter 34, and inputted to photo converter 35. At a reception side, the photo signal of light wavelength (λ2) having passed through photo converter 35 is inputted to photoelectric converter 36, by way of line 343, photo branching filter 33, and optical fiber 342, where a single-tube system color signal is regenerated.
