Abstract
PURPOSE: To device to fasten an insulating plate to a flange by a fastening part prespectively without fastening two flanges directly by providing spot facing holes alternately on both sides of the insulating plate for containing heads of fastening parts.
CONSTITUTION: An insulating plate 12 is fastened to a pipe 1A by a bolt 14 and others shown by "A", and to a pipe 1B by a bolt 14 and others shown by "B" so that two falnges 2A and 2B of pipes 1A and 1B may not be fastened directly. Consequently, the insulation can be obtained between two flanges 2A and 2B of pipes 1A and 1B by the use of usual bolts, washers, and nuts without the necessity of processings to give insulation to bolts 14 and to metalize the insulating plate 12. Besides, the insulating plate 12 is given a structure with spot facing holes 13 penetrated for bots without planted bolts to be prossively constructed by bolts. In this construction, the insulating plate 12 can be manufactured easily to be adapted for largesized diameters. When a bolt is injured, the trouble can be recovered by replacing the bolt singly.
