Abstract
PURPOSE: To make possible remote displaying of detection quantities over a wide range by providing longitudinal adapters built in with buoy devices for detection of perpendicular displacements and transmitters for transmission of displacement quantities at plural points of the cross connecting pipe fixed in parallel with the surface to be measured.
CONSTITUTION: The buoy devices 10 of longitudinal adapters 3 are moved vertically only by the buoyancy of liquid. The top faces of the longitudianl adapters 3 are adjusted as a position reference plane 16. A top cover 17 having holes through which magnetic scale bars 8 pass and a transmitter box 18 built-in with a transmitter 11 mounted to the top cover 17 are installed. When liquid is filled, the buolyd evices float above the stopper 19 position. The floating quantities α thereof are read as the number of the graduations engraved on the magnetic scale bars 8 by the transmitters 11 and are transmitted to receivers 13 via lead wires 12. The signals undergo the operation being h0-α-h in an operator 14, and the results are displayed in a display device 15. Conforming the number of units of the receivers 13, operators 14 and display devices 15 to the number of detection points makes possible multipoint simultaneous measurements.
