Abstract

PURPOSE: To permint a trouble of a battery to be imformed of when power is being supplied from an AC source to a load circuit with a simple circuit construction.
CONSTITUTION: Normally, the output voltage of a rectifying circuit 5 is supplied to a load with a manual switch 8 and contacts 9a and 9c of a manual select switch 9 respectively closed. In this state, in which charging current is flowing through a protective resistor 13, there is a voltage drop across the resistor 13, so that the terminal voltage across an informing circuit 16 is lower than the voltage between the opposite terminals 4a and 4b secondary winding 4 by the afore-mentioned voltage drop and is equal to the terminal voltage across a battery 11. When a fuse 12 is burnt away or when the battery 11 is deteriorated, the charging current to the battery 11 ceases, whereby the terminal voltage across the informing circuit 16 becomes equal to the voltage between the opposite terminals 4a and 4b of the secondary winding 4. As a result, the informing circuit 16 is operated to produce an alarm.
