Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the life span of tools, maintain machining accuracy and shorten machining time by adding and dispersedly mixing inorganic fine grain of 1W150 millimicron size in less than 10% of the total volume.
CONSTITUTION: Utilizing hard grain of SiO2, Al2O3, MgO, ZrO, TiO2, Fe2O5 etc. as fine grain of 1W150 millimicron order, the desired machining liquid is produced by adding in less than 10 volume percent and dispersedly mixing this inorganic fine grain into the conventional machining liquid. The curve A shows the result of the conventional machining liquid, the curve B--machining liquid mixed with 2% of SiO2 in 7μm order, the curve C--machining liquid mixed with 0.5% of lauric fatty acid sodium.
