Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to make the required equipment compact and to make the driving energy to small capcity and to collect economically and efficiently the above-mentioned sample, by carrying out the insertion and pulling-out of the probe while slanting the probe continuously making follow to the falling amount of the charged material in the furnace.
CONSTITUTION: The probe 10 set at the waiting position for collecting the sample, is slanted upward by the angle θ corresponding to about half of the abgle by which the probe inclines owing to the lowering of the contents in the main body 1 of the furnace. This motion is performed by actuating respectively the cylinder 12 for slanting on the travelling truck 8 and the cylinder 18 for raising and lowering the receiving roller 17. Then, the probe 10 is inserted to the prescribed position in the main body 1 of the furnace with the operation of the two-stage cylinder 23. Theprobe 10 is slanted downward gradually through the free set of the cylinder 12 owing to the lowering of the contents. The probe 10 with which the measurement of the temperature, pressure and gas components or the collection of the contents has been completed, is pulled out as it has a downward position with the operation of the two-stage cylinder 23
