Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a premixing burner of a small CV value and high S/N by providing a throttle mechanism which increases the difference in the velocity of flow of mist and gas and a partition wall changing the flow direction within a premixing chamber. CONSTITUTION:A partition plate 13 which is formed with a plurality of grooves 15 and in which one end of the grooves 15 is an opening 14 is provided to one end of a first premixing chamber 6. The opening 14 of this partition plate 14 is the throttle mechanism of the channel from the first premixing chamber 6 to the second premixing chamber 6 and this turns out that the mist, fuel gas and auxiliary fuel gas having been premixed are subjected to accelerative motion in the throttle mechanism. Since this accelerative motion further increases the difference in the velocity of flow between the mist and gas, the particle sizes of the mist become additionally smaller. The mist of large particle sizes collide with the partition wall 13 and deposite thereon as water drops, which are then discharged donward through the grooves 15 without flying off in the lateral direction. Thereby, the S/N and CV value may be increased.
