Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize the linearity of phase characteristics without deviating the position of speakers by using a delay circuit consisting of a non-minimum phase circuit. CONSTITUTION:A delay circuit using a non-minimum phase circuit which consists of a resistance 6, capacitor 7 and transistor 5 of R1, C1 in constant and a capacitor 8 and coil 8 of C2, L2 in constant is connected to power amplifiers 12, 13 which drive woofer and mid-range speaker 10, 11 including network parts. Then, the sloping of the phase characteristics of the mid-range speaker 11 becomes equal to the sloping of the phase characteristics of the woofer 10, thus the sound pressure characteristics when both speakers 10, 11 are combined are flat from the low to middle frequency ranges and yet the linear phase characteristics are obtainable. The linearity of phases is also realized from the middle to high frequency ranges by the similar method.
