PURPOSE:To increase greatly the low-pitched sound reproduction capacity without sacrificing the sound image normal position substantially, by adding the low component of the signal to the speaker after being changed into the monaural state. CONSTITUTION:The left and right input signals are applied to input ends 1L and 1R each, and then sent to left and right power amplifiers 7L and 7R via the resistance circuit network comprising resistances 2L, 3L and 4L plus 2R, 3R and 4R, and the serial circuit of variable resistance 5 and LPF6. And the outputs of these amplifiers are applied to left and right speakers 8L and 8R each. Here the signals having the characteristics of Figs. A and B are delivered from amplifiers 7L and 7R each, and then the signal of the monaural low band is supplied to speakers 8L and 8R. Thus both speakers work in the same phase, and as a result the low pitched sound reproduction capacity can be increased greatly without sacrificing the sound image normal position substantially.
