Abstract

PURPOSE: To heighten the reliability and prevent abnormal noises, by installing thermosensitive cylinders between communication pipes extending from thermosensitive expansion valves to evaporators and gas pipes extending from the outlet ports of the evaporators.
CONSTITUTION: Parts of the communication pipes 10A, 10B extending to the evaporators 3A, 3B from the outlet ports of the thermosensitive expansion valves 4A, 4B installed in liquid pipes 5A, 5B branched from a main liquid pipe 5 are located near parts of the gas pipes 6A, 6B extendng from the outlet ports of the evaporators 3A, 3B to a main gas pipe 6 of an outdoor unit. The thermosensitive cylinders 7A, 7B are provided between the nearby parts. Electric heaters 8A, 8B are placed near the cylinders.
