Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the title compsn. of good uniform stability for improving the feel of fibers to be treated by blending a sulfuric acid ester salt of synthetic alcohol with a specific amt. of a lanolin alcohol derivative or a lanolin fatty acid derivative.
CONSTITUTION: Lanolin derivatives are very inferior to sulfuric acid ester salts of synthetic alcohol in detergency. When 2W110wt% of the derivative, however, is blended into the salt, the derivative improves the feel of fibers without deteriorating the detergency. This compsn. is obtd. by simply mixing both the components, yet various processes can be applied in accordance with the kinds of the components. For example, synthetic alcohol and lanolin alcohol are mixed, sulfated, and neutralized. This compsn. contains some sodium silicate in the production process. Although inorg. salt such as sodium silicate is blended, separation of water due to salting out and precipitation of salt due to crystal growth can be prevented. Thus, the compsn. has superior compsn. stability
