Abstract

PURPOSE: The simply controllable titled apparatus for the exterior setting work without damading the hard, biattle exterior parts to be set, by consituting the apparatus so as to equalize the pressure of individual push roller installed, at equal pitch or at symmetric position as a couple, against the axis of rotation of the exterior parts to be set.

CONSTITUTION: At the lower end portion of the exterior parts 2 (non-metallic parts) to be set, is installed the exterior parts 3 (metallic cylinder) to whose lower end protion is previously fitted the rubber packing 4; and these parts are placed upon the hollow portion 37 of the lower holder 2 4a. Next, the intermediate parts 45 is placed upon the shoulder portion 5 so as to sit, and then, the piston rod 46 of holding cylinder 44 is brought down by the oil prossure so as to push the parts 2 and give the initial pressure to the packing 4. Then, the upper bed 40 is rotated by the driving mechanism 23, and the arrester 1 to be worked is coaxially, monolithically ratated, and the right and left hydraulic pushing mechanisms 31, 32, are actuated so as to advance the push rollers 25a, 26a, and thrust the exterior parts 3 against the engaging portion 10; hereby, the working is completed. For this while, the pressures are always detected by detectors 33, 34, and are compared by the adder 35b; correspondingly to this difference, the servo valve 36a controls the flow rate, and the pressure of the mechanism 32 is controlled so as to follow the reference pressure of the mechanism 31
