Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the stress corrosion crack and also, to enable to carry out the flaw inspection of weld zone, by providing restricting member having smaller coefficient of linear expansion than stainless steel tube, with welded stainless steel tube mutually able to restrict and freely detachable on the outer circumference of weld zone.
CONSTITUTION: The restricting member 4 having smaller coefficient of linear expansion than the stailess tube 1a, 1b and half divided construction, is equipped by the bolt and nut 5 freely detachable through the attaching ring 3a, 3b on the outer circumference of the tube 1a, 1b joined at the weld zone 2. Accordingly, compression stress is produced between the ring 3a and 3b of the tube 1a, 1b including the zone 2 by the difference of coefficient of linear expansion when piping system is made common use temperature. Hereby, stretching residual stress produced by welding, is decreased and stress corrosion crack is prevented. Also, flaw inspection is easily carried out because the member 4 is able to detach by the bolt 5
