Abstract
PURPOSE:to make stable the great pulse oscillation, by avoiding the reduction in the transmission rate of laser light due to the condition of package installation, through taking the construction that the package of saturated absorbing color element solution is extended toward the axis of resonator. CONSTITUTION:The resonator is constituted by placing the laser rod 3 and the package 4 locating saturated absorbing color element solution between the low reflection factor mirror 1 and high reflection factor mirror 2. Further, the package 4 consists of the metal bellows 11 extending the package main body 7', package external cylinder 12 specifying the direction for extension, main body 7', and two glass windows 8. One end of the main body 7' is fixed to the external cylinder 12 and another is not fixed. Accordingly, if the temperature is increased and the volume of the solution 9 is increased, since the package 4 is extended toward the axis of resonance, no destruction due to the internal pressure increase of the package 4 is caused and the change in the transmission rate due to the change in the condition of installation can be avoided.
