Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce cracks due to stress relief annealing by alleviating the tensile residual stress at stress-concentrated portion after butt welding by the method in which a metal of a thermal expansion coefficient greater than that of the base metal is inserted into a part of joints to be welded.
