Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the degradation of silicone oil containing phenyl radical in molecules which is used as the heat medium at crosslinking reaction by forming an external conductive layer with the material not generating an acid during crosslinking treatment.
CONSTITUTION: An external conductive layer is formed with the material not generating acid during crosslinking treatment and crosslinking-treated in silicone oil. As the material not generating an acid, the material not adding acid formation material, such as stearic acd, is used. For example, acetylene black is blended with polymers, such as polyethylene, ethylene-propylene rubber, silicone rubber, etc.. This prevents the silicone oil ontaining phenyl radical in molecules which is used as the heat medium at crosslinking reaction, such as methylphenyl silicone oil, from reacting to the acid and generating polymerization reaction and enables the long term use of silicone oil
