Abstract
PURPOSE:To promote evaporation of fuel and thus improve ignitability of the mixture gas, or otherwise to purify the exhaust gas more completely, by connecting the main combustion chamber or subsidiary combustion chamber with intake pipe or exhaust pipe or the inside of exhaust gas purifying means by means of heat pipe. CONSTITUTION:Heating apparatus A receives heat in combustion chamber C at the portion of heat pipe 1 inserted into the combustion chamber C. Through movement of operating liquid in heat pipe 1, mixture gas drawn into the intake pipe or exhaust gas in the exhaust pipe is heated rapidly, so that evaporation of fuel particles is promoted or reaction of the exhaust gas in the exhaust gas purifying means such as catalyst converter or thermal reactor is promioted. Thus, it is enabled to ignite the mixture gas with high reliability and to purify exhaust gas more effectively.
