Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform automatic accompaniment of arpeggio with a simple constitution by converting the pitch name information of the argeggio patterns concerning one kind of chord to the pitch name information corresponding to key touching with a note conversion circuit.

CONSTITUTION: When a switch SWb₁ is closed, the binary pitch name signals and octave signal read out from the ROEM 31 in which the arpeggio patterns corresponding to C-major chords have been stored are applied to a note conversion circuit 38 and adder 48 respectively via latch circuit 35. The chord signals corresponding to the accompaniment key touching from a chord detection circuit 22 are being applied to said circuit 38 and the pitch name signals according to the chords corresponding to the accompaniment key touching generated by the circuit 38 and the fundamental note signals corresponding to the key touching of the circuit 22 are added in an adder 40. The scale signal to be applied to a musical tone gate 46 is then selected according to the accompaniment keys and the arpeggio scale signal is formed. Therefor, the automatic arpeggio play may be performed with the simple constitution of using the ROM of a small capacity storing the pitch name signal, etc. concerning one kind of chord
