Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish an sutomatic charge of a car battery during the outdoor parking in the daytime, while preventing an overdischarge of the car battery due to spontaneous discharge by means of a solar battery arranged on the car body.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of a sun visor 6 are fixed to a window frame 5 or a rain water frame arranged on a rear window 3 of a car 1. A solar battery 8 is mounted in the sun visor 6. The solar battery 8 is connected to an electric circuit of the car shown by the drawing through a lead wire. In operation, when the temperature in the car room 1a is lower than a specified value during the parking in winter for example, a contact 22a in a bimetal switch 22 is closed, while a normally-closed contact 21a in a relay 21 interlocking an ignition switch 20 is closed. Under this condition, when a manual switch 19 is closed, an electric current generated by the solar battery 8 is fed into a car battery 24 through a diode 23, whereby the battery 24 can be charged
