Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The light emitting diode D1 of a first photo coupler P1 is connected to the output side of an output buffer B. The light thereof is received in a transistor T1 and is applied to the inversion output end of an operational amplifier Q4. The light emitting diode D2 of a second photo coupler P2 and an output resistance Rs are series-connected to the output side of the operational amplifier Q4 and the light thereof is received in a photo detecting transistor T2 and is applied to the non-inversion input of the operational amplifier Q4. Hence, a current read voltage VM is drawn out at both ends of the resistance Rs, by which the value of load current I0 may be measured. Since these are electrically isolated by the photo couplers, the maximum operating voltage may be considerably increased
