Abstract

PURPOSE:To save energy consumption and yet enable exothermic recording elements to be constituted at a pitch twice the electrode lead-out number by connecting respectively specific first and second electrode groups to the respectively electrically and thermally isolated heating elements. CONSTITUTION:Heating elements 1 are provided respectively isolatedly on an insulator 4. The ends in the first direction of the elements 1 are combined with each of mutually adjoining ones, which are then connected to the same electrodes out of the first mutually adjoining electrode groups a1 thru a4 of electrode parts 3 to constitute the terminal pair in the first direction. The ends in the second direction of the elements 1 are also combined with each of the mutually adjoining ones except the combinatios similar to those of the terminal pairs in the first direction, and are then connected to the same electrodes out of the second electrode groups b1 thru b5 to constitute the terminal pair in the second direction. If each one of rectifying elements is arrayed and added to two elements at both ends of the electrode parts 3, the rate of utilization will increase.
