Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure an accurate detection for the disconnection area through a miniature and light-weight constitution by detecting via a searching unit the audible frequency signals which are transmitted to the wiring from the oscilator.
CONSTITUTION: The audible frequency oscillator consists of oscillation frequency setting circuit part 4, buffer part 5 and polarity inversion circuit part 6, and transmits the oscillation output current to the searched circuit. At the same time, the audible frequency oscillator circuit detects the audible frequency signals leaked from the searched circuit through the searching unit in the form of the audible tones. Here, the searching unit is shifted along the circuit to perform detection through the variations of the tones detected under the state the output current of the oscillator is transmitted to the searched circuit. Thus, the fault occurrence areas can be detected accurately through a miniature and light-weight consititution
