Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a vibration abosrbing apparatus for centrifugal dehydrating washer, in which its slider is formed with a flange portion and a tapered portion in the form of a cylinder having a large diameter, whereby it is enabled to connect the slider and coil securely with no use of any special elements. CONSTITUTION:Slider 28 is formed with a large cylindrical portion 26 to which upper end of a coil spring 25 is fitted, a flange portion 30 which is held in contact with spherical seat 31 formed in support arm 5, and a small cylindrical portion 30a extended upward from said flange portion 30. Upper surface of flange portion 30 is made shaped in a spherical form so that it can be held in tight contact with said spherical seat 31. A groove 29 is formed in the large cylindrical portion 26, flange portion 30 and small cylindrical portion 30a of the slinder 28, excluding a portion of the small cylindrical portion 30a. Tapered portion 27 is formed around the outer periphery of the large cylindrical portion 26, such that its diameter is increased toward the flange portion 30. With such an arrangement, when coil spring 25 is press fitted to the portion 26, tensile force acted on suspending rod 24 by slider 28 is increased as the coil spring 25 is urged inward, by the function of the tapered portion 27.
