Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure clamp of a test tube without any deformation by using the wedge action of a ring having a sector section.
CONSTITUTION: A tube 1 is clamped between anouter ring 5 having a sector section, an outer ring 4 to be fitted with the ring 5 and with the test tube 1 while having sector-sectional outer circumfernece, and an inner ring 2 having a similar sectional shape to that of the ring 5 and to be fitted in the outer circumfernece of a tensile load rod 3, and is subjected to tension. Thanks to the wedge actions between the rings 5 and 4 and the ring 2 and the rod 3, the tube 1 can be reliably clamped without any deformation even if it has a large diameter.
