Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve furthermore the denitrating rate in the above-mentioned simul taneous denitration, by desulfurizing and cooling the exhaust gas by spraying the equeous solution of NaOH or Na2CO3 to the exhaust gas of high temperature containing SOX and NOX and by blowing a part of the powder or particles of Na salt collected at the dust collector into the exhaust gas before the cooling.
CONSTITUTION: By sending the exhaust gas from the furnace 1 into the lower part of the cooling tower 3 and spraying 5 the aqueous solution 4 of NaOH or Na2CO3, the temperature of the exhaust gas which has been 400W700°C at first is lowered to 200W400°C. The sticking fine powder is washed away with the washing water 10. The generated Na salts consist mainly of Na2CO3, Na2SO3 and Na2SO4 and have the grain size of 1W40μ.
