Abstract
PURPOSE: To optimize the decomposition of organic substances with methane bacteria and to facilitate the solid-liquid separation, by controlling the sludge concentration in the methane fermenter and the ratio of the inorganic to organic substances in the sludge which coagulates by inorganic coagulants at specific values.
