Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily monitor the presence or absence of an abnormal condition at all times by detecting the strength of infrared rays radiated from the flame of a tube bulb sealing burner. CONSTITUTION:Infrared rays are radiated from the flame of the burner. These infrared rays are focussed on photo-electric converter element 10 by lens 9 and are converted into an electric signal, which is amplified by amplifier 11 and moves the pointer of indicator-meter 12. When the burner is in normal operation, flame 6 is formed of a blue inner flame and a practically colorless outer flame. Its infrared rays are not very strong, and the pointer of indicator-meter 12 stays within a certain range. When nozzle 3 is clogged, the infrared rays radiated from the flame become weak, and the pointer of indicator-meter 12 to the excessively weak side, buzzer 13 sounds and notifies an abnormal condition. Thus, it is possible to monitor at all times.
