Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of uneven recording owing to fluctuations in supply voltage by detecting the electric power being applied to heating elements and controlling the power supply and cut-off from the power source. CONSTITUTION:A switching element 2 is turned ON by the set output from an FF circuit according to write signal and the DC voltage from a power source 1 having rectified a commercial AC power soruce is applied to a heating element 3. This voltage is squared in a square circuit 4 and is made to the DC signal of the level corresponding to the power to be supplied to the element 3 corresponding to the heating temperature of the element 3 by an integrating circuit 5. When the output level of the circuit 5 reaches the specified value, a level detector 6 generates a detection signal, which in turn resets the circuit 7. Thereby, the power supply through the element 2 to the element 3 is cut off and even at the fluctuating of the supply voltage the occurrence of uneven recording is prevented by the constant heating of the element 3.
