Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a method of manufacturing shoes suitably used as sports shoes and the like by forming a polyurethane-foam sole attached with a designed sole of different material. CONSTITUTION:A wall portion 1b for a vulcanized rubber designed sole 1 is fitted into a wall fitting peripheral groove 2a on a sole mold 2, and an instep covering portion 6, previously formed continuously with an intermediate sole by a foot mold 5, is set at an upper predetermined position of an injection mold, thereafter, side molds 3, 4 are fixed to the sole mold 2, whereby a space 7 for forming a polyuretane sole is formed between the instep covering portion 6 and the valcanized rubber designed sole 1. A predetermined amount of a combined stock solution for the polyurethane foam is injected through an injection port 8, and a finished shoe is taken out of the molds by dismantling them after the polyurethane sole portion is foamed and cured.
