After the number of any address conversion table is stored in table number register 2 by OS, instructions in OS are read out from main memory 5 and executed. At this time, the operand address is set to logical address register 3 and inputted to address converter 1. The number of register 2 is also inputted to converter 1, which outputs data on the corresponding physical address from conversion table 1A. This is set to physical address register 4. on the basis of this physical address, instructions in OS are read out sequentially from main memory 5, thereby performing the process of OS.
