Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase sensitivity by a detector and also to reduce influence of the aberration of an optical system by arraying respective elements of the infrared- ray detector with the small radius of the circumcircle and by adding together outputs of respective elements via a point delay element and line delay line.
CONSTITUTION: The infrared-ray pickup unit, provided with two-dimensional scanner 3 which scans on a visual field for a pickup from telescope 1 in vertical and horizontal directions and optical system 4 which focuses and image-form incident infrared rays on the arrangement position of face-arrangement infrared-ray detector 15, displays the output of this detector 15 on display unit 10 and takes the picture. Then, respective elements of infrared-ray detector 15 are so arranged that the radius of circumcircle will be less. Outputs of elements of this constitution are applied to point delay element 7 and line element 14 via pre-amplifiers 6a to 6i and added together by adders 8 and the outputs of respective elements are supplied to post-amplifier 9 as the momentary visual field of one detecting element.
