Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the using efficiency of the memory without increasing particularly the number of the addresses for the correction data by delivering the reading data of the address corresponding to the correction data in case the data of the read only memory shows the presence of correction. CONSTITUTION:Read only memory 11 is provided along with marker memory 15 which receives the address designation via the address information to memory 11 and writes and reads the information showing the presence or absence of the correction plus correction data memory 22 which writes and reads the correction data. And in case a correction is given to the contents of memory 11, the information showing the correction is written into memory 15 of the same address as that of memory 11, and at the same time the correction data is written into the corresponding address of memory 22. While in case the information read out of memory 15 shows the absence of the correction, the reading data of memory 11 is delivered; and the reading data of the corresponding address of memory 22 is delivered 26 in case the presence of the correction is shown. As a result, the using efficiency can be increased for the memory without increasing particularly the number of addresses for the correction data.
