Abstract
PURPOSE: To secure the high reliability for decision of the right/wrong or normal/ failure condition of the paper-like printed matter by detecting the features of the microwave patterns of the characters, symbols, patterns and the like which are written onto the paper-like object via the ink or the like containing the microwave responsive material.
CONSTITUTION: If some pattern is drawn on paper-like object 6 to be tested, the receiver input signal level, i.e., the pattern part on object 6 in case it is carried to the lower part from the upper part of the test opening part of the waveguide appears in the form of the increment of loss or the fluctuation of the resonance frequency in terms of the microwave transmission characteristics of the resonator since the metal, carbon and the like contained in tne ink, paint and others used function as the resistor or the dielectric substance to the microwave.
