Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a particulate detergent having improved flow properties and solidity, by spraying a slurry containing a large amount of aluminum silicate from any plate column except the bottom column and a slurry containing a small amount of aluminum silicate from the bottom plate column into the same drying space of the multi-stage spray dryer.
CONSTITUTION: A particulate detergent comprising 15W40 wt.% of a surface active agent and 7W30 wt.% of aluminum silicate is obtained by spraying A) a detergent slurry with a water concentration of 35W50 wt.%, consisting of 15W40 wt.% of the surface active agent, not less than 80 wt.% of aluminum silicate, and 5W20 wt.% of sodium silicate, from any plate column except the bottom column of a multi-stage spray dryer having two or more spray plate column with plural spray nozzles placed at regular intervals on a horizontal plane, and B) a detergent slurry with a water concentration of 35W50 wt.%, consisting of 15W40 wt.% of the surface active agent, not more than 20 wt.% of the aluminum silicate, and 5W20 wt.% of the soduim silicate, from the bottom plate column of the dryer to the same drying space.
