Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent fringe patterns from being generated on heat-sensitive paper by adding a temporary memory to a facsimile or the like, by reading out the storage and by partially changing the sequence of the record. CONSTITUTION:When start signals ST and read signals RA1 are generated, bit signals v1 are read out of a line memory 403b into a series-parallel converter 406, and the content is stored in a temporary storage 409. When read signals RB1 are generated, signals v2 are read out of the memory 403b so that the content of the converter 406 is transferred to a temporary memory 501 and is then fed. In this meanwhile, write signals WA are generated, and power is fed to the exothermic element in response to the signals v1. After that, signals v2 are stored in the memory 409. When write signals WB1 are generated, power is supplied to the exothermic element in response to the signals v2. Thus, the bit signals of one scanning line are recorded.
