Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the complicacy of the circuit and then to secure the pulse amplification with the stable operation point by connecting the input and the output of the NOT gate of C-MOS via the high resistance and thus forming an amplifier circuit the operation point of which is decided uniformly.
CONSTITUTION: The pulse voltage produced through detection of the optical pulse signals by the photo detector is supplied to inverter 26 via the differential circuit. The output of inverter 26 features an intermediate level by feedback resistance 27 when no signal exists. If the pulse is applied under these conditions, the input voltage is inversely amplified to emerge at the output side. When the output of inverter 26 features the negative voltage to the input, diode 28 connected in parallel to the feedback resistance is short-circuited. And thus inverter 26 loses the amplifying function. Inverter 26, like the normal gate, features the functions for the positive- negative inversion and the waveform shaping, thus obtaining the output waveform at terminal 33.
