Abstract

After the rolling is started, the outer diameter DA of the work 1 and the measured value of the axial breadth H are read in the information processing unit CMP, and are compared with the stored rolling proceeding pattern, for obtaining the deviation between two. This deviation, as information for controlling the rolling force, is inputted to the rolling force controller of the mandrel 2 and the axial frame 4. According to this method, good products with stable quality can be manufactured at high efficiency.
