Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an instantaneously overload time removing function at an overcurrent relay by assembling a meter relay with a stationary type overcurrent relay.
CONSTITUTION: A meter relay 6 is provided at a rectifying circuit 2. The contact 8 of the relay 6 and the overload protecting contact 7 of a stationary type overload current relay draw a curve between a current A and time t shown in a view. When the main circuit current of a motor crosses the curve, the contacts 7, 8 are closed. Accordingly, when an overload occurs at normal motor operating time, it initially crosses the curve 7a to cause the contact 7a to be closed. Thus, an auxiliary relay 9 is operated. If the load becomes further overload, it crosses the curve 8a to cause the contact 8 to be closed with the contact 7 to thereby operate an auxiliary relay 10.
