Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the torque of a synchronous motor from pulsating by controlling an armature current of the motor by the deviation between a torque signal and a torque instruction signal.
CONSTITUTION: The field signal of a synchronous motor 2 outputted from a position detector 10 and three-phase position signal responsive to the relative position of the armature of the motor 2 are converted into six-phase position signal by a phase number converting circuit 17. From the six-phase position signal is calculated the vector component of the three-phase armature current by a current vector arithmetic circuit 18. A voltage arithmetic circuit 19 calculates the fundamental wave component of the terminal voltage of the motor 2 from the outputs of a field instruction circuit 15, phase number converting circuit 17 and current vector arithmetic circuit 18, and a torque arithmetic circuit 20 calculates the instantaneous torque signal of the motor 2 from the output signals of current detectors 7∼9 are voltage arithmetic circuit 19. a cyclo converter 1 is controlled in response to the deviations between the speed set signal and the speed signal and between the instantaneous torque signal and the previous signals.
