PURPOSE:To prevent a combustion unit from erroneous operation by enabling it to detect vibration of combustion unit's wall surface caused during combustion and process it electrically to obtain informations such as an ignition signal, etc. CONSTITUTION:A thermally insulated conduction rod 6 is directly attached securely at a position in the neighborhoog of a black skiet range 5 of flame 4 on a side wall's outside surface of a combustion unit 2 equipped with a fuel jetting nozzle 1 in such a manner that it is penetrating the combustion unit. A conduction rod 6 conducts combustion sound on the wall surface to a detector 7 as a mechanical vibration to be converted to an electrical signals and put into an alarm setter 10, a recorder 11 and a speaker 12 in parallel. The alarm setter 10 is capable of discriminating an input signal and also of generating an ignition signal or an gginition failure contact signal, and therefore, this is utilized for various interlocking mechanisms and alarm indication systems. As sound and vibration are conducted to the detector 7 through an insulated conduction rod 6, they are not affected by heat or soot.
