Abstract

PURPOSE: Title material that is prepared by adding a specific plasticizer having no compatibility, thus being improved in injection moldability and mold filling properties without any adverse effect on the inherent molding properties.
CONSTITUTION: (A) a phenolic resin as novolak resin is uniformly mixed with 0.5 W 4 wt% of a liquid plasticizer being incompatible to the resin and boiling at 80 W 130°C as trichlene, n-heptane preferably using a Henschel mixer. The plasticizer acts as a plasticizer at 70 W 100°C in the cyclinder to reduce the viscosity of the molding material and improve injection properties and evaporates up in a moment in the mold heated over 150°C to keep the viscosity of the inherent material, thus retaining the good mold filling properties.
