Abstract
PURPOSE: To balance the sensitivities in the X, Y directions in the driving device, make its maintenance easy and achieve its longer life by providing a supporting member integrally coupled to the supporting plate of moving coils in the reproduction system of grooveless discs.
CONSTITUTION: The coils 1, 2,... of the moving part A provided in a DC magnetic field generator B are secured at one end to a supporting plate 3 and pivot rests 9a, 9b are secured in the lateral symmetrical positions on the centerline of the plate 3. The pivots of yoke form pickup arms are pressure-contacted to the members 9 to transmit the vibrations of the moving part A to the reproducing element. A supporting member 10 is supported by members 11a, 11b in parallel to the plate 3 and is integrally coupled to the plate 3. As a result, the member 10 flexes and deforms in bow form when the plate 3 is moved in the axial direction of the coils owing to the driving and displacement of the coils. Also, the member 10 flexes and deforms in S-form when the plate 3 is turned by the driving and displacement of the coils, thus the reproduction characteristics may be improved without the occurrence of displacement of the member 10 in the lateral directions.
