Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a high-pressure type, compact device by providing an impeller and a fixed guide vane in its neighborhood, constructing a part or the whole of the guide vane with surface-type heat generator and thereby eliminating a pressure drop at the time of passage of the heat generator.
CONSTITUTION: When power is supplied to motor 1; impeller 5, which is fitted on motor shaft 6, which is provided inside casing 2, starts rotation and draws air from air inlet 3. The air so drawn is heated by the heat generated by a self-temperature- control type heat generator coated on the surface of guide vane 7 and is discharged from the casing exit. Since the guide vane is integrated into the heat generator, no space is required for the heat generation mechanism. Thus, the device can be made compact. At the same time, since the heat generating mechanism does not cause pressure loss, a high-pressure type hot-air generator can be obtained.
