Abstract
PURPOSE: For ensuring insertion and detachment even during the operation of a tank, to provide a detecting mechanism on the hermetically-sealed case having on the both ends thereof the sections which can be opened, and extended perpedicularly inside and outside of said tank so that said detecting mechanism may be inserted in and detached from said sealed case.
CONSTITUTION: For detaching an electrostatic capacity meter 3, an equalizing valve 29"' is closed, valves 29 and 29' are opened, nitrogen gas is supplied to the guide pipe 26 of a hermetically-sealed case 10 by operating pumps 31 and 31' to expel internally-present liquid from said sealed case 10, open sections and a valve 29 are closed, and a pump 31 is stopped. In the meanwhile, said valve 29' is kept open, the whole quantity of the gas filled in said sealed case 10 is diffused in the atmosphere by continuing the supply of nitrogen gas of said pump 31', and said valves 29' and 29" are closed to complete discharge. Thereafter, no dangerous gas is present in said sealed case 10. When said built-in electrostatic capacity meter 3 is detached, there is no possibility of the leakage of the gas filled in a tank 6 from work place.
