Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the deletion amount of the residual carrier as soon as possible for the PLLMPX demodulation system by connecting the serial resonance circuit to the input pilot negating triangular wave generation circuit. CONSTITUTION:The signal of 19K Hz produced at PLL11 turns on and off alternately current source S1 and S2 via switching circuit 12. The triangular wave (a) caused by charging/discharging of capacitor C1 is produced at point P in the reverse phase to the input pilot signal and then added 14 to the input composite signal after level adjustment 13. Thus, the pilot signals are deleted. In this case, serial resonance circuit SR consisting of L1 and C2 is connected to both ends of C1 to absorb the higher harmonic component of the pilot signal in order to secure an effective growing of triangular wave component (b) at point P. Thus, the amount of delection can be increased for the pilot signals.
